Women, on the other hand, don't always benefit from consistency because our bodies, energy levels, and hormones change every day with our menstrual cycle.

This means that when trying to do the same routine every single day, we are actually doing ourselves a disservice.

We should instead be trying to work with our body's natural cycle, rather than against it.

My name is Alyssa Katelyn and I've been enjoying the benefits of having a morning routine for years, but I always felt like there was something missing.

Every month during the days leading up to my period and even during it, I was always extra tired and would really struggle to wake up at the same time every morning like I usually do.

I would get so annoyed because the morning routine gurus would always say that consistency is key when it comes to your morning routine.

But it wasn't until recently that I came across the idea of cycle syncing and how we should actually be changing up our diets, workouts, and daily routines with our menstrual cycle because our hormones go up and down and our bodies need different things depending on what phase we are in.

This new information absolutely blew my mind and I immediately started applying it to my morning routine and it completely changed the game.

Now I have a morning routine that changes with my cycle and that actually works with my body, not against it.
